An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Site MES IT Coordinator / MES Production Support Leadto support mission-critical Manufacturing Execution System (MES) operations at a regulated manufacturing facility in St. Louis, Missouri. This role is ideal for professionals with extensive experience in MES implementation, production support, incident management, and regulated manufacturing environments within the Life Sciences industry.
The successful candidate will lead site-level MES coordination, provide production support during go-live and hypercare phases, and ensure stable day-to-day manufacturing operations. Working closely with business stakeholders, quality teams, manufacturing personnel, and IT teams, you will help optimize MES performance, improve operational efficiency, and maintain compliance with industry regulations. Key Responsibilities
- Lead site Manufacturing Execution System (MES) coordination and production support activities.
- Support MES implementation, deployment, and go-live activities.
- Manage hypercare and steady-state MES operations.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for production incidents and system issues.
- Coordinate incident management and issue resolution across technical and business teams.
- Ensure compliance with Computer System Validation (CSV) requirements.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality assurance, engineering, and IT stakeholders.
- Monitor system performance and recommend continuous process improvements.
- Maintain production support documentation and operational procedures.
- Provide functional and technical guidance to support teams and project stakeholders.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
Experience
- 10+ years of experience in MES implementation and production support.
- Experience supporting regulated manufacturing or Life Sciences environments.
- Proven experience managing go-live, hypercare, and steady-state production support.
