Job Overview
An excellent onsite contract opportunity is available for an experienced Senior SAP SD Consultant in Avon Lake, Ohio. The client is seeking an accomplished SAP professional with extensive experience in SAP Sales and Distribution (SAP SD), Order-to-Cash (O2C) business processes, and enterprise SAP implementations. This role is ideal for candidates with deep functional expertise who can support complex SAP transformation initiatives.
The successful candidate will gather business requirements, configure SAP SD solutions, support data migration activities, and collaborate with cross-functional SAP teams to ensure seamless end-to-end business operations. The position requires expertise in SAP SD ECC, customer master management, pricing, sales order processing, delivery, billing, and integration with SAP MM, FI, PP, and WM modules.

Key Responsibilities
- Gather business requirements and translate them into SAP SD functional solutions.
- Configure and support SAP SD ECC business processes.
- Design and optimize Order-to-Cash (O2C) workflows.
- Manage Customer Master, Pricing, Sales Orders, Delivery, and Billing processes.
- Prepare detailed functional specifications for development teams.
- Perform data migration, cleansing, mapping, validation, upload, and reconciliation activities.
- Support system integration with SAP MM, FI, PP, and WM modules.
- Coordinate functional testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect resolution.
- Assist with cutover planning and production go-live support.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional SAP teams.
- Ensure adherence to SAP implementation best practices and project standards.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience
- 15+ years of SAP Sales and Distribution (SAP SD) experience.
- Proven experience in multiple SAP SD implementation projects.
- Extensive experience supporting enterprise ERP transformation initiatives.
