Job Overview
An organization is seeking an experienced Senior Tableau Architect for a 100% remote contract opportunitysupporting higher education analytics and business intelligence initiatives. This short-term engagement, with the potential for extension, is ideal for senior data visualization professionals who possess strong expertise in Tableau architecture, dashboard development, data integration, and enterprise reporting.
The successful candidate will design and optimize enterprise Tableau solutions, develop interactive dashboards, integrate multiple data sources, and collaborate with technical and business stakeholders. Candidates must have Higher Education domain experience, with additional experience in PeopleSoft Campus Solutions (CS9)considered highly desirable. This opportunity offers exposure to enterprise analytics projects, professional development, and career growth within higher education technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise Tableau architecture and reporting solutions.
- Develop interactive dashboards using Tableau Desktop, Tableau Prep, and Tableau Cloud.
- Build scalable data visualization and business intelligence solutions.
- Integrate data from SQL databases, ETL pipelines, APIs, and SharePoint.
- Collaborate with business users to gather reporting requirements.
- Optimize dashboard performance and data models.
- Maintain data accuracy, governance, and reporting standards.
- Support data migration, testing, and production deployment.
- Document technical solutions and reporting processes.
- Work with Higher Education stakeholders to deliver actionable insights.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related field.
Experience
- Senior-level experience as a Tableau Architect or Tableau Developer.
- Mandatory experience in the Higher Education domain.
- Experience delivering enterprise business intelligence and analytics solutions.
- Experience with Tableau Cloud implementations is preferred.
