Job Overview

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. This is a customer-facing, full-time onsite position designed for professionals with 2–5 years of experience in software deployment, technical support, implementation, or related software engineering functions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting software deployments, Apache Tomcat administration, WAR deployments, technical implementations, and customer-facing activities. The role requires a strong understanding of SQL, REST APIs, networking concepts, and software implementation processes.

This position offers an opportunity to develop a career in customer-facing software engineering while gaining practical experience in enterprise software deployment, client support, technical demonstrations, and training. Candidates with strong Arabic and English communication skills will be well suited to this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer Apache Tomcat environments and manage WAR deployments.
• Support software deployment and implementation activities for customers.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot software-related issues.
• Work directly with clients to understand technical requirements and resolve implementation challenges.
• Conduct software demonstrations and technical presentations for customers.
• Provide user training and technical guidance when required.
• Support application deployment and configuration activities.
• Work with SQL databases and troubleshoot database-related issues.
• Understand and work with REST APIs and software integrations.
• Apply networking concepts when diagnosing connectivity and application issues.
• Maintain effective communication with customers and internal technical teams.
• Support successful implementation and ongoing operation of software solutions.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
• 2–5 years of relevant professional experience in software engineering, software deployment, technical support, implementation, or related roles.
• Practical experience with Apache Tomcat administration.
• Experience with WAR deployments.
• Good understanding of SQL and relational database concepts.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and software integration concepts.
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Experience working directly with customers or clients.
• Experience conducting software demonstrations, training sessions, or technical support.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English.
• Strong presentation and customer relationship skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and communicate solutions effectively.
• Valid UAE residency visa is required.
