Job Overview

An organization in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to support and optimize mission-critical Wealth and Brokerage applications. This contract opportunity is ideal for IT professionals with expertise in financial technology platforms, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and enterprise application reliability. Candidates who can join immediately or within 30 days are preferred.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the availability, scalability, and performance of trading and wealth management platforms while supporting cloud-native infrastructure and modern DevOps practices. Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and highly available infrastructure on AWS and Microsoft Azure.
• Support and maintain Wealth and Brokerage applications, including FIT, Zag Trader, Direct FN, Prospero, and Advent.
• Monitor system performance, reliability, and application availability.
• Develop and maintain software solutions using Java, .NET Core, and related frameworks.
• Manage Oracle, SQL Server, and MongoDB database environments.
• Integrate APIs, microservices, and enterprise integration solutions.
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Apply cybersecurity best practices and ensure compliance with security architecture and data privacy standards.
• Participate in incident management, problem management, and root cause analysis.
• Evaluate emerging FinTech technologies such as blockchain, AI/ML, and digital wallets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using JIRA and Confluence.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability and operational efficiency.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience

• 5–8 years of professional experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Immediate to 30-day joiners are preferred.
• Strong experience supporting Wealth or Brokerage platforms.
