Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Security Engineer to join a technology-focused organization in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This role is suited to security professionals with strong expertise in application security, cloud security, penetration testing, and DevSecOps practices, with a focus on strengthening enterprise security and reducing technology-related risks.

The successful candidate will contribute to the implementation and improvement of security controls across applications, cloud environments, and development processes. Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain application security controls across technology environments.
• Assess cloud infrastructure and applications for security vulnerabilities and risks.
• Conduct and support penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
• Integrate security practices into software development and DevSecOps workflows.
• Identify, analyze, and mitigate cybersecurity vulnerabilities and threats.
• Apply security frameworks, standards, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and technology teams to address security requirements.
• Support continuous improvement of enterprise security controls and processes.
• Contribute to security assessments, risk analysis, and remediation activities.
• Maintain awareness of emerging cybersecurity threats, technologies, and security engineering practices.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity or security engineering.
• Strong expertise in Application Security.
• Strong experience with Cloud Security.
• Practical knowledge of Penetration Testing and vulnerability assessment.
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps practices.
• Knowledge of relevant cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and security controls.
• Relevant cybersecurity or information security certification is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with technical and cross-functional teams.
• Candidates must currently be based in the United Arab Emirates.
