Job Overview

Techno Orbits is seeking an experienced Senior Purchasing Officer to join its Operations Department in Riyadh. The role will support purchasing and procurement activities across medical device distribution operations, with responsibility for purchase orders, supplier communication, regulatory documentation, and import and customs coordination.

The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining efficient procurement operations and ensuring that purchasing and documentation processes align with applicable SFDA requirements. Strong communication, negotiation, supplier management, and ERP system experience will be important for success in this position.

This opportunity is suitable for professionals with 4–6 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain who are looking to develop their careers within the healthcare and medical devices sector. Previous experience with medical devices or healthcare operations is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day purchasing and procurement activities.
• Prepare, process, and monitor purchase orders.
• Communicate and coordinate with suppliers regarding orders, pricing, delivery schedules, and documentation.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate import and customs-related activities.
• Ensure purchasing documentation complies with applicable SFDA requirements.
• Work with internal teams to coordinate procurement requirements and deliveries.
• Monitor supplier performance and support effective supplier relationships.
• Negotiate with suppliers regarding commercial terms and procurement requirements.
• Use ERP systems to manage purchasing and procurement processes.
• Support timely availability of products required for medical device distribution operations.
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to resolve purchasing, import, and delivery issues.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain.
• Good knowledge of SFDA/FDA requirements.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Good organizational and coordination abilities.
• Strong attention to documentation and regulatory requirements.
• Previous experience in the medical devices or healthcare sector is preferred.
