Derayah, a leading FinTech company in Saudi Arabia, is seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join its technology team in Riyadh. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise ETL pipelines using Talend and Microsoft SSIS.
• Build and optimize enterprise data warehouse solutions.
• Develop and manage SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases.
• Implement dimensional data models, including star and snowflake schemas.
• Perform data migration, reconciliation, and performance optimization.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, GitHub, or Bitbucket.
• Automate data pipelines using Python or Shell scripting.
• Ensure data quality, metadata management, lineage, and governance.
• Monitor production environments and troubleshoot data pipeline issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable enterprise data solutions.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering, ETL development, or enterprise data warehousing.
• Strong expertise in Talend and Microsoft SSIS.
• Advanced experience with SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Experience building enterprise ETL pipelines and data warehouses.
• Strong knowledge of dimensional modelling, including star and snowflake schemas.
• Experience with data migration, reconciliation, and database performance optimization.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, GitHub, or Bitbucket.
• Proficiency in Python or Shell scripting for automation.
• Knowledge of data quality, metadata management, data lineage, and governance.
• Experience in production monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Previous experience in Financial Services, FinTech, Capital Markets, or regulated environments is highly preferred.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
