Job Overview

Derayah FinTech is seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join its technology team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will build and maintain high-performance ETL pipelines, optimize enterprise databases, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and secure data solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise ETL pipelines using Talend and Microsoft SSIS.
• Develop scalable data warehousing solutions for business intelligence and analytics.
• Design and optimize Star Schema and Snowflake Schema data models.
• Perform data migration, transformation, and integration across multiple systems.
• Optimize SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases for performance and scalability.
• Develop automation scripts using Python or Shell scripting.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, GitHub, or Bitbucket.
• Monitor data quality, performance, and governance across enterprise data platforms.
• Collaborate with business analysts, software engineers, and stakeholders to deliver reliable data solutions.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Data Engineering, ETL Development, or Data Warehousing.
• Experience in FinTech, Financial Services, or other regulated industries is preferred.
