Job Overview

Global Entertainment Manufacturer (GEM) is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its finance and accounting team. The position is responsible for managing the full end-to-end accounting cycle and ensuring accurate financial records, reconciliations, cash flow reporting, and period-end closing activities.

The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining accurate accounting information and supporting effective financial management. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full end-to-end accounting cycle.
• Record and review journal entries and supporting documentation.
• Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable activities.
• Process bank transactions and perform bank reconciliations.
• Manage and clear suspense accounts.
• Prepare and review General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow reports.
• Manage expenses, revenues, accruals, and provisions.
• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
• Prepare and review the trial balance.
• Verify the accuracy and completeness of account balances.
• Support the maintenance of accurate financial records and accounting documentation.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional experience in accounting, preferably in a Senior Accountant or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of full-cycle accounting processes.
• Practical experience with General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.
• Strong understanding of bank and intercompany reconciliations.
• Experience preparing cash flow reports and financial closing activities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple accounting activities and meet reporting deadlines.
