Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Scrum Master to support enterprise IT projects within the insurance industry. This position is based in Bloomington, Illinois, with preference given to local candidates. The ideal candidate will have experience managing Agile projects in fast-paced technology environments while ensuring successful project delivery using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
As a Scrum Master, you will work closely with IT Managers, development teams, and business stakeholders to facilitate Agile ceremonies, manage project schedules, and remove delivery obstacles. The role requires strong project coordination, risk management, and stakeholder communication skills while maintaining high standards of Agile delivery and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies following Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) practices.
- Coordinate and manage enterprise IT projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Work closely with IT Managers to maintain Agile schedules and project timelines.
- Support Program Increment (PI) Planning activities.
- Maintain Agile story boards and sprint tracking.
- Identify, track, and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Coordinate team review meetings and sprint retrospectives.
- Prepare monthly project status reports and delivery metrics.
- Ensure adherence to Agile methodologies and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Support projects involving ephemeral environments, service virtualization, synthetic data, and enterprise applications.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience managing and coordinating IT projects.
- Experience working as a Scrum Master in Agile environments.
- Insurance industry experience is required.
- Experience working in fast-paced enterprise technology environments.
