Job Overview

Mowah Water & Power Company is seeking qualified Safety and HSE professionals to join its team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The available positions are Safety Supervisor and HSE Supervisor, with responsibility for maintaining workplace health, safety, and environmental standards and supporting safe, compliant, and efficient site operations.

The successful candidates will conduct site safety inspections, participate in risk assessments, monitor compliance with safety procedures and personal protective equipment requirements, support incident investigations, and coordinate with site teams, contractors, and management. The roles are particularly relevant to professionals with practical experience in workplace safety, hazard identification, incident prevention, HSE compliance, and safety reporting.

Available Positions

1. Safety Supervisor

Salary: SAR 9,000 – 10,500 per month

Experience: 1–3 years

2. HSE Supervisor

Salary: SAR 14,000 – 15,500 per month

Experience: Minimum 3 years

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and enforce workplace Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements.
  • Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and potential hazards.
  • Participate in risk assessments and ensure appropriate preventive and corrective measures are implemented.
  • Monitor compliance with approved safety procedures, permits, and Personal Protective Equipment requirements.
  • Support incident and near-miss investigations and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Conduct safety briefings, toolbox talks, and employee safety-awareness activities.
  • Maintain HSE records and prepare periodic safety reports and performance updates.
  • Coordinate with site teams, contractors, and management to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Support internal and external HSE audits.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to workplace safety and HSE performance.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Candidates holding a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Safety are encouraged to apply.
  • Candidates with qualifications in other engineering disciplines may also be considered where their professional experience or current field of work is related to Safety or HSE.
  • Relevant practical experience in workplace safety, inspections, risk assessment, incident prevention, and HSE compliance.
  • Good communication, reporting, coordination, and safety-awareness skills.
  • Ability to conduct safety inspections and identify workplace hazards.
  • Ability to support risk assessments and corrective-action programs.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with employees, contractors, site teams, and management.

Mandatory Certifications

Candidates must hold at least one of the following certifications:

  • OSHA Certification
  • NEBOSH Certification
  • IOSH Certification

An ISO-related certification will be considered an added advantage.

Candidates are required to submit a copy of their Saudi Council of Engineers membership along with their application.

Salary, Benefits & Career Growth

Safety Supervisor: SAR 9,000 – 10,500 per month.
