Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Risk Manager to support a prestigious mega construction project in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This opportunity is suited to a senior risk management professional with extensive experience managing risk across large-scale construction, EPC, infrastructure, and complex project environments.
The Risk Manager will lead enterprise and project-level risk management activities, establish risk frameworks and governance processes, and coordinate multidisciplinary risk management across planning, cost, commercial, procurement, design, construction, engineering, and project controls functions.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise and project-level risk management activities for complex EPC, construction, and infrastructure projects.
- Establish risk frameworks, procedures, risk registers, and governance processes.
- Facilitate multidisciplinary risk workshops involving clients, consultants, contractors, engineering, procurement, construction, commercial, and project controls teams.
- Manage project risk registers covering schedule, cost, technical, procurement, contractual, and execution risks.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative risk assessments to identify critical threats and opportunities.
- Lead Schedule Risk Analysis and Cost Risk Analysis using Monte Carlo simulation.
- Evaluate P50, P80, and P90 confidence levels for project schedule and cost exposure.
- Integrate Primavera P6 schedules with quantitative risk models to identify schedule exposure, criticality, and key completion-date drivers.
- Conduct sensitivity and tornado analysis to identify dominant schedule and cost risk drivers.
- Develop risk response strategies and assign appropriate risk ownership.
- Monitor mitigation actions through to closure.
- Prepare executive risk dashboards, heat maps, trend analysis, risk burndown reports, and quantitative risk reports.
- Collaborate with planning, cost, commercial, procurement, design, construction, and project management teams.
- Integrate risk management activities into overall project controls processes.
- Monitor emerging and residual risks and escalate critical exposures to project leadership.
- Establish and monitor risk KPIs and KRIs.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of risk mitigation measures and recommend improvements.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 15 years of hands-on professional experience as a Risk Manager.
- Proven experience managing risk for large-scale or mega construction projects.
- Strong experience in EPC, construction, infrastructure, or complex project environments.
- Advanced knowledge of qualitative and quantitative risk assessment methodologies.
- Practical experience with Schedule Risk Analysis and Cost Risk Analysis.
- Strong knowledge of Monte Carlo simulation and confidence-level analysis, including P50, P80, and P90.
- Experience integrating Primavera P6 schedules with quantitative risk models.
- Expertise in sensitivity and tornado analysis.
- Strong understanding of project controls, scheduling, cost management, procurement, commercial, and construction processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong ability to conduct multidisciplinary risk workshops.
- Experience working with multinational organizations or international projects is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and decision-making capabilities.
- Relevant risk management certifications and professional development credentials are advantageous.
