Job Overview
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Quantity Surveyor (Infrastructure) to join a leading infrastructure project team in the United Arab Emirates. This position is ideal for professionals with extensive experience in roads, utilities, and civil infrastructure projects who are passionate about cost management, contract administration, and delivering successful construction outcomes.
The successful candidate will play a key role in quantity surveying, project cost control, contract management, and commercial reporting throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate quantity take-offs for infrastructure projects.
- Develop cost estimates, project budgets, and financial forecasts.
- Prepare, review, and evaluate Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
- Manage project variations, claims, and contract documentation.
- Monitor project costs and ensure effective cost control throughout execution.
- Administer contracts in accordance with FIDIC conditions.
- Prepare commercial reports and maintain project documentation.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, and contractors.
- Support procurement and tender evaluation activities.
- Ensure commercial compliance with project specifications and contractual obligations.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor on infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience in roads, utilities, and civil infrastructure works.
- Strong knowledge of quantity take-off, cost estimation, budgeting, and contract administration.
- Experience preparing and evaluating BOQs, variations, claims, and project cost control.
- Thorough understanding of FIDIC contracts.
- Experience with project documentation and commercial reporting procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant Quantity Surveying software.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Candidates currently available in the UAE for immediate joining will be given priority.
