Job Overview

A leading company in Dubai is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor – Fit-Out to join its team on a full-time basis. This opportunity is suited to a quantity surveying professional with practical experience in fit-out projects and a strong understanding of construction cost management, tendering, and commercial estimation.

The successful candidate will support quantity surveying and commercial activities, including Bill of Quantities (BOQ) preparation and review, cost estimation, tendering, and project cost analysis. Experience in wooden joinery is a strong advantage, while UAE construction experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and manage Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for fit-out projects.
• Conduct detailed cost estimation for construction and fit-out works.
• Support tender preparation, evaluation, and submission activities.
• Analyze project costs, quantities, materials, and labor requirements.
• Assist with commercial evaluation of subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Monitor project costs against approved budgets.
• Support cost-control and commercial reporting activities.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project documentation for quantity and cost requirements.
• Coordinate with project, procurement, design, and commercial teams.
• Utilize MS Excel for cost calculations, analysis, and reporting.
• Use AutoCAD to review drawings and support quantity surveying activities.
• Assist with variations, valuations, and other commercial project requirements.
• Maintain accurate quantity surveying and cost documentation.
• Support project teams in achieving cost-effective and commercially sound project delivery.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of relevant fit-out experience.
• Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor in the fit-out or construction sector.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation and quantity surveying practices.
• Practical experience in cost estimation and tendering.
• Experience in wooden joinery is a strong advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• UAE construction experience is preferred.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and commercial skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
• Immediate joiners are preferred.

Salary, Benefits & Career Growth

Salary: AED 7,000+ per month
