Job Overview

A leading company in the Food & Beverage industry in Kuwait is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to oversee food safety, quality assurance, and quality management activities. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with HACCP, ISO standards, food safety, hygiene, audits, inspections, and quality management systems.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining food safety and quality standards, ensuring regulatory and internal compliance, managing quality audits, and addressing non-conformances and customer complaints. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee quality assurance and quality control activities within the food industry.
• Implement and maintain food safety and quality management systems.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, ISO, food safety, hygiene, and applicable quality standards.
• Conduct and coordinate quality audits and inspections.
• Monitor production and operational processes for quality and food safety compliance.
• Identify, document, and manage quality non-conformances.
• Investigate customer complaints and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.
• Develop and monitor corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain quality and food safety documentation and records.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Monitor hygiene and food safety practices across relevant operations.
• Identify quality risks and recommend appropriate improvement measures.
• Work with operational teams to strengthen quality and food safety performance.
• Promote continuous improvement across quality assurance processes.
• Ensure quality standards are consistently maintained across operations.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control within the food industry.
• Strong knowledge of:
  • HACCP
  • ISO standards
  • Food safety
  • Hygiene standards
  • Quality management systems
• Experience in quality audits and inspections.
• Strong understanding of compliance and food safety systems.
• Experience handling non-conformances, customer complaints, and corrective actions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder-management capabilities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Candidates currently based in Kuwait are preferred.
