Job Overview
TechMantra Global is seeking an experienced QA Engineer with 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing. The role involves planning and executing comprehensive testing activities across web applications, mobile applications, and APIs, with a strong focus on functional, regression, and automated testing.
The QA Engineer will be responsible for developing test plans and test cases, designing and maintaining automation scripts, identifying and tracking defects, and verifying fixes. The role also requires experience with SQL, scripting, white-box and black-box testing, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
This opportunity is suitable for QA professionals who can collaborate effectively with developers, Product Managers, and other stakeholders while continuously improving testing processes, tools, and strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents.
- Create detailed test plans, test cases, and testing strategies.
- Execute functional, regression, and automated testing.
- Perform testing of web applications, mobile applications, and APIs.
- Design and maintain test automation scripts.
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
- Monitor debugging activities and verify defect fixes.
- Track QA metrics, including defect density and open defects.
- Collaborate with developers, Product Managers, and other stakeholders.
- Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and testing strategies.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in Software QA/Testing.
- Strong experience with software quality assurance and testing.
- Experience in test planning and test case development.
- Web application testing experience.
- Mobile application testing experience.
- API testing experience.
- Test automation experience.
- Knowledge of white-box and black-box testing.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Scripting experience.
- Regression testing experience.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
