Job Overview

Al-Mutlaq Trading & Industry Holding Company is seeking a Production Engineer to join its industrial operations in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The position is focused on supporting daily production activities, improving manufacturing efficiency, monitoring production performance, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the industrial operation.

The Production Engineer will work closely with production, quality, maintenance, planning, and warehouse teams to ensure production processes operate according to established plans and standards. The role involves identifying operational bottlenecks, analyzing performance indicators, reducing waste and downtime, and supporting corrective actions that improve productivity and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow up and supervise daily production processes to ensure activities progress according to established plans.
• Monitor production-line performance and contribute to improving efficiency and productivity.
• Analyze operational problems, bottlenecks, and production constraints and support appropriate corrective actions.
• Monitor production, quality, waste, and resource-utilization performance indicators.
• Contribute to process optimization and initiatives aimed at reducing waste and downtime.
• Support improvements in overall operational efficiency and production performance.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and other relevant departments to maintain production continuity.
• Ensure compliance with occupational quality, safety, and health procedures within the industrial work environment.
• Prepare production and performance reports and communicate observations and recommendations to the relevant department.
• Support continuous improvement activities across manufacturing processes.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Previous knowledge or experience in production and manufacturing is preferred.
• Good understanding of production principles and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of industrial process improvement and production-efficiency practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to identify operational issues and support corrective actions.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and Warehouse teams.
• Good organizational, follow-up, and reporting skills.
• Ability to work effectively in an industrial and operational environment.
• Ability to manage the practical demands of a production-focused role.
