Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Planning Engineer with a Mechanical Engineering background to support project planning and site engineering activities in Oman. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in CMEI works and a strong understanding of mechanical site operations, project execution, and construction planning.

The position requires a technically experienced professional capable of coordinating planning activities with site execution requirements and supporting project teams throughout the delivery lifecycle. Candidates with strong exposure to mechanical works and CMEI projects will be well suited to this opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Support project planning and scheduling activities for mechanical and CMEI works.
• Coordinate planning requirements with site engineering and project execution teams.
• Monitor project progress against approved schedules and planned milestones.
• Support site teams in coordinating mechanical construction activities.
• Track work progress and identify potential delays or scheduling issues.
• Coordinate with relevant project stakeholders to support timely execution.
• Prepare and maintain project planning documentation and progress updates.
• Assist in developing and updating project schedules based on site requirements.
• Support effective coordination between planning and site engineering functions.

Requirements & Qualifications

• BE/Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 8–10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong experience as a Site Engineer with a Mechanical Engineering background.
• Relevant exposure to CMEI works is required.
• Strong understanding of mechanical construction and site execution activities.
• Knowledge of project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and coordination.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with project and site teams.
