Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Planner to join an organization operating in the Oil & Gas industry in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The position is suitable for professionals with 5+ years of experience in planning, particularly within Oil & Gas and EPC projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, coordinating with engineering, operations, and contractors, monitoring project progress, identifying risks, and supporting timely project delivery. Strong expertise in project planning and scheduling using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and plans.
• Monitor project activities to support timely completion of deliverables.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, and contractors to monitor project progress.
• Identify schedule discrepancies and support corrective actions.
• Track and analyze project performance against established plans and timelines.
• Identify project risks and contribute to mitigation and corrective action plans.
• Ensure efficient resource utilization throughout project activities.
• Monitor project milestones and deadlines.
• Prepare regular project progress reports and status updates.
• Support effective project planning and scheduling activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of planning processes and tools.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably in:
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Chemical Engineering
  • Petroleum Engineering
  • Related engineering discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Planning.
• Experience in Oil & Gas and/or EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of project planning and scheduling.
• Hands-on experience with Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
• Strong time management and prioritization skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Knowledge of Oil & Gas projects and relevant industry standards.
• Ability to monitor project performance, schedules, resources, and timelines effectively.
