Job Overview

A professional organization is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to manage and support end-to-end payroll operations in Riyadh. The role is responsible for preparing, processing, reviewing, and reconciling monthly payroll while ensuring accurate calculation of salaries, allowances, deductions, attendance, leave, overtime, and employee settlements.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of payroll experience and practical expertise managing payroll processes from initial preparation through final approval. Strong attention to detail and knowledge of employee compensation, payroll adjustments, end-of-service benefits, and financial settlements are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, process, review, and finalize monthly payroll from inception through approval.
  • Calculate employee basic salaries, allowances, deductions, absences, vacations, and overtime.
  • Review employee attendance and departure records and accurately link them to payroll data.
  • Ensure payroll information is accurate and complete before processing and approval.
  • Calculate employee end-of-service gratuity and final financial settlements.
  • Process employee final dues in accordance with applicable company policies and procedures.
  • Manage salary adjustments and ensure accurate payroll implementation.
  • Process the payroll impact of employee promotions and salary increases.
  • Review payroll data to identify discrepancies and resolve payroll-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate with HR and relevant departments regarding employee compensation and payroll changes.
  • Support payroll compliance and maintain confidentiality of employee salary information.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Saudi nationals only, as specified in the vacancy.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional payroll experience.
  • Proven practical experience preparing, processing, and reviewing monthly payroll.
  • Strong knowledge of salary, allowance, deduction, absence, leave, and overtime calculations.
  • Experience linking attendance and departure records with payroll data.
  • Experience calculating end-of-service gratuity and employee final settlements.
  • Experience handling salary adjustments, promotions, and salary increases.
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
  • Good organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling employee compensation and payroll information.
