Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Techno-Functional Consultant for a 1-year on-site contract opportunity in Oman. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of relevant experience supporting Oracle E-Business Suite across both technical and functional areas, with strong expertise in the Oracle Receivables module.

The role involves Oracle EBS customization, application support, technical and functional troubleshooting, integration, database development, data migration, upgrades, testing, and user training. Strong hands-on knowledge of Oracle Forms & Reports, XML Publisher, PL/SQL, Web Services/API integration, and Oracle Receivables is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide techno-functional support for Oracle EBS applications.
• Support and configure the Oracle Receivables module.
• Develop and maintain Oracle Forms and Reports.
• Create and maintain reports using XML Publisher.
• Develop and optimize PL/SQL procedures, packages, functions, and database objects.
• Develop and support Web Services and API integrations.
• Perform application customization and personalization.
• Troubleshoot Oracle EBS technical and functional issues.
• Support data migration activities and Oracle EBS upgrades.
• Coordinate and support UAT and system testing activities.
• Provide user training and functional guidance.
• Support Oracle CRM and Revenue-related processes.
• Prepare and maintain technical and functional documentation.
• Conduct knowledge-transfer sessions for users and support teams.
• Provide 7×24 support when required.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to resolve application issues.
• Support continuous improvement of Oracle EBS processes and solutions.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 6+ years of Oracle EBS experience.
• Strong Oracle EBS techno-functional expertise.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Receivables.
• Strong experience with Oracle Forms & Reports and XML Publisher.
• Strong PL/SQL programming and database object development skills.
• Experience with Web Services and API integrations.
• Knowledge of Oracle EBS application customization and personalization.
• Strong technical and functional troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with data migration and Oracle EBS upgrades.
• Experience with UAT, testing, and user training.
• Knowledge of Oracle CRM and Revenue processes is advantageous.
• Strong documentation and knowledge-transfer capabilities.
• Ability to provide 7×24 support when required.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Relevant Oracle certifications are an advantage.
