Job Overview

An urgent opportunity is available for an experienced Network Security Specialist to join a leading banking client in Oman. This position is ideal for cybersecurity and network security professionals with expertise in F5 BIG-IP, Fortinet security solutions, and Forcepoint Secure Web Gateway technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for protecting enterprise banking infrastructure, ensuring network security, and maintaining secure, high-availability environments.

As a Network Security Specialist, you will administer enterprise security platforms, monitor network infrastructure, implement security policies, and support critical banking operations. Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain F5 BIG-IP LTM and ASM/WAF environments.
• Configure, manage, and optimize Fortinet Security Solutions.
• Support and administer Forcepoint Websense / Secure Web Gateway platforms.
• Monitor enterprise network security infrastructure and ensure high availability.
• Implement and maintain network security policies and access controls.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve network security incidents.
• Perform security monitoring, risk assessments, and vulnerability remediation.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and application teams.
• Ensure compliance with banking security standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Network Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 6+ years of experience in network security or cybersecurity.
• Strong experience administering F5 BIG-IP (LTM & ASM/WAF).
• Hands-on experience with Forcepoint Websense / Secure Web Gateway.
• Expertise in Fortinet Security Solutions.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise network security and infrastructure operations.
• Mandatory experience in the Banking Domain.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Egyptian nationals only.
• Candidates with a 0–30 day notice period are preferred.
