Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Linux Engineer to support enterprise Linux infrastructure in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have 8–12+ years of enterprise Linux infrastructure experience, including a minimum of 5 years of hands-on production experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).

The role requires strong technical expertise across high availability clustering, enterprise storage, virtualization, security, automation, infrastructure troubleshooting, and mission-critical environments. Candidates with experience supporting government, banking, healthcare, telecommunications, or large enterprise infrastructure will be well suited to this opportunity.

This position offers experienced infrastructure professionals the opportunity to work with enterprise-scale technologies and mission-critical environments. The role provides continued professional development through exposure to RHEL, high availability, Ansible automation, virtualization, Kubernetes/OpenShift, enterprise storage, and infrastructure security.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support enterprise Linux infrastructure in production environments.
• Administer and troubleshoot Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems.
• Maintain highly available and mission-critical Linux environments.
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot high availability clustering solutions.
• Support enterprise storage infrastructure and related Linux integrations.
• Manage and support virtualization environments.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure security and hardening practices.
• Automate infrastructure administration and operational processes.
• Troubleshoot complex Linux infrastructure, performance, and availability issues.
• Support enterprise infrastructure across mission-critical environments.
• Work with cross-functional technical teams to resolve infrastructure incidents.
• Apply industry-standard infrastructure management and operational practices.
• Contribute to infrastructure modernization, automation, and reliability initiatives.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8–12+ years of enterprise Linux infrastructure experience.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on production experience with RHEL.
• Strong experience with high availability (HA) clustering.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise storage technologies.
• Experience with virtualization platforms.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure security.
• Hands-on experience with automation and infrastructure troubleshooting.
• Experience working in mission-critical environments such as:
  • Government
  • Banking
  • Healthcare
  • Telecommunications
  • Large enterprises
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work effectively in high-availability and production environments.
• Must be available in Qatar.
• Must be ready to join within one week.
