Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Java Technical Consultant for a 1-year on-site contract opportunity in Oman. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of relevant experience in Java development and enterprise application support, with strong technical knowledge across Java-based web technologies, system integrations, and application customization.

The successful candidate will work with Java, JSP, HTML/HTML5, XML, .NET, i-Support, JTF frameworks, Web Services, APIs, and system integrations. The role also includes application testing, UAT support, data migration, reporting, customization, and Oracle CRM/Revenue support.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support Java-based enterprise applications.
• Work with Java, JSP, HTML/HTML5, XML, and .NET technologies.
• Develop and maintain Web Services and API integrations.
• Support system integration activities across enterprise applications.
• Work with i-Support and JTF frameworks.
• Develop and maintain Web Forms and reports.
• Perform application customization based on business and technical requirements.
• Support application testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Troubleshoot and resolve application and integration issues.
• Support data migration activities.
• Provide Oracle CRM and Revenue-related technical support.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to resolve application issues.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation where required.
• Provide knowledge transfer and technical guidance to relevant stakeholders.
• Provide 7×24 support when required.
• Contribute to application improvements and production support activities.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 6+ years of relevant Java development / technical consulting experience.
• Strong experience with Java and JSP.
• Knowledge of HTML/HTML5 and XML.
• Experience with .NET technologies.
• Experience with i-Support and JTF frameworks.
• Strong understanding of Web Services, APIs, and system integrations.
• Experience with Web Forms, reporting, and application customization.
• Experience supporting application testing and UAT.
• Knowledge of data migration processes.
• Experience supporting Oracle CRM / Revenue applications is advantageous.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Good understanding of enterprise application environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to provide production support, including 7×24 support when required.
• Relevant Java or technical certifications are an advantage.
