Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Technical Lead / Architect to lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-scale cloud-native applications. This opportunity is open to local candidates in New Jersey or Cary, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Java technologies, modern frontend frameworks, Azure cloud services, DevOps, and enterprise application architecture.
As a Technical Lead / Architect, you will provide technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle, collaborating with architects, product owners, stakeholders, and globally distributed engineering teams. You will drive architecture decisions, mentor development teams, and ensure the delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise solutions using modern cloud-native technologies.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise full stack applications.
- Develop scalable backend services using Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
- Design and develop modern user interfaces using React.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Build and deploy cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Manage source code using GitHub Enterprise and implement branching strategies.
- Develop containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Design RESTful APIs and implement event-driven architecture patterns.
- Evaluate and integrate AI/ML and Generative AI technologies where applicable.
- Lead Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Mentor development teams and provide technical guidance.
- Collaborate with global onshore and offshore teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 12+ years of professional experience in Java Full Stack Development.
- Proven experience leading enterprise software development teams.
- Experience working with distributed global and onshore-offshore teams.
