Job Overview

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced HSE Manager (Equipment) to support major Oil & Gas, Desalination, and Pipeline Projects in Qatar. This leadership position is ideal for highly qualified health, safety, and environmental professionals with extensive GCC construction experience and a proven ability to implement world-class HSE management systems.

The successful candidate will lead project-wide health, safety, and environmental initiatives, ensuring compliance with ISO 45001, Qatar regulations, and client requirements. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee the complete Project HSE Management System.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 45001 standards and applicable Qatar HSE regulations.
• Lead and supervise the project HSE team across multiple work locations.
• Conduct comprehensive hazard identification and risk assessments.
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Plan and conduct HSE audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for client HSE representatives.
• Promote and maintain a zero-harm safety culture throughout project operations.
• Organize and deliver safety training, awareness programs, and toolbox talks.
• Monitor HSE performance and prepare management reports and documentation.

Requirements & Qualifications

• SHES NVQ Level 5, Postgraduate Diploma, or Master’s Degree in HSE, Safety Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of construction safety management experience.
• Extensive GCC experience in Oil & Gas, Desalination, or Pipeline Projects.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems.
• Thorough understanding of Qatar HSE regulations and industry best practices.
• Proven leadership experience managing large HSE teams.
• Expertise in incident investigations, safety audits, and risk management.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
