A diversified group of companies in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, is seeking an experienced Group Chief Financial Officer (GCFO) to provide executive-level financial leadership across multiple business entities. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping group financial strategy, strengthening financial governance, improving performance, and supporting sustainable business growth.

The GCFO will oversee group-level financial reporting and consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, cash flow, working capital, compliance, and internal controls. The role will also work closely with executive management on strategic, investment-related, and business performance decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the group’s financial strategy in alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead financial performance management across multiple entities.
  • Oversee group financial reporting, consolidation, and management reporting.
  • Direct annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
  • Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working-capital management.
  • Establish and strengthen financial governance, internal controls, and compliance frameworks.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, ZATCA regulations, and applicable Saudi financial and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide accurate financial analysis and insights to executive management.
  • Support strategic planning and investment-related decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial efficiency, profitability, and sustainable business performance.
  • Oversee the effective use of ERP systems for financial management and reporting.
  • Manage relationships with senior stakeholders and relevant external parties.
  • Lead and develop finance teams across the group.
  • Monitor financial risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Drive continuous improvement across group finance processes, reporting, controls, and performance management.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, or CMA.
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting.
  • At least 4 years of experience in a group or multi-entity environment.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, ZATCA regulations, and Saudi financial and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Experience in EPC, construction, manufacturing, or facilities management is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience in financial leadership, reporting, consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
  • Strong understanding of cash flow and working-capital management.
  • Excellent leadership and stakeholder-management capabilities.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
