Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Java Developer for a long-term onsite contract opportunity in Chicago, IL. The role focuses on developing scalable, high-performance enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, ReactJS, REST APIs, and microservices.

The successful candidate will contribute to modern application development, event-driven architecture, cloud deployment, and continuous integration and delivery. This position requires strong technical expertise in full-stack development, multithreading, performance tuning, automated testing, and enterprise integration technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop full-stack enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and ReactJS.
• Design and develop REST APIs and scalable microservices.
• Build event-driven solutions using Kafka and JMS.
• Develop high-performance, multithreaded applications.
• Perform application performance tuning and optimization.
• Deploy and support applications on Microsoft Azure.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Jenkins.
• Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices.
• Develop and maintain automated unit tests using JUnit and Mockito.
• Work with JPA, Hibernate, SQL, and enterprise data-access technologies.
• Collaborate with clients, solution architects, developers, and cross-functional teams.
• Maintain scalable, reliable, secure, and high-quality application code.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Strong professional experience in full-stack Java development.
• Advanced knowledge of Java 8 and Java 21.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
• Strong experience with ReactJS and JavaScript.
• Experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
• Practical knowledge of Kafka and JMS.
• Strong knowledge of JPA, Hibernate, and SQL.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps and Jenkins.
• Strong understanding of TDD, JUnit, and Mockito.
• Experience with multithreading and application performance tuning.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Chicago, Illinois.
• Willingness to work on a long-term contract assignment.
