Job Overview

A leading company in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced and results-driven Fleet Operations Manager to lead fleet management, vehicle maintenance, workshop operations, and vehicle rental and leasing activities in Dammam. The role is responsible for ensuring efficient fleet operations, high vehicle availability and utilization, effective maintenance programs, and strong operational performance.

The successful candidate will oversee large-scale fleet operations, preventive and corrective maintenance, workshop activities, rental and leasing contracts, fleet utilization, operating costs, and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the company’s fleet to maximize operational efficiency, utilization, and vehicle availability.
• Plan and monitor preventive and corrective vehicle maintenance programs.
• Ensure maintenance and repair activities are completed within required timelines.
• Supervise workshop operations, including vehicle repairs, servicing, inspections, and maintenance activities.
• Manage vehicle rental and leasing operations, including fleet utilization, contracts, and customer requirements.
• Monitor vehicle availability, utilization, downtime, maintenance costs, and overall fleet performance.
• Analyze fleet operating costs and identify opportunities to improve productivity and cost control.
• Develop and implement initiatives to improve fleet efficiency and operational performance.
• Identify new business opportunities and contribute to commercial growth.
• Support expansion of the customer base and development of new business relationships.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
• Ensure high levels of customer service and satisfaction.
• Establish, monitor, and report operational KPIs covering fleet utilization, availability, maintenance, workshop productivity, and rental performance.
• Prepare and review management reports covering fleet, maintenance, workshop, rental, and operational performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and applicable transportation regulations in Saudi Arabia.
• Lead, coach, and develop fleet, transportation, and workshop teams.
• Establish operational priorities and ensure teams achieve business and performance targets.
• Drive continuous improvement across fleet, maintenance, workshop, rental, and transportation operations.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong experience in car leasing, vehicle rental, or fleet management.
• Extensive knowledge of automotive mechanics, vehicle maintenance, and workshop operations.
• Proven experience managing large-scale fleet operations.
• Strong understanding of fleet utilization and vehicle availability management.
• Experience developing and managing preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Experience in vehicle rental operations, contracts, and fleet utilization.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent planning and operational decision-making capabilities.
• Strong commercial awareness and business development skills.
• Ability to develop new business opportunities and maintain customer relationships.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and KPI management capabilities.
