Job Overview

Japan Interiors – Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Fit-Out Project Engineer / Project Manager to oversee the successful planning, execution, coordination, and completion of interior fit-out projects in Jeddah and Riyadh. The role is suited to professionals with 4–7 years of relevant experience in interior fit-out projects and a strong understanding of technical execution, project planning, costing, and site coordination.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project activities from initiation through completion and handover while coordinating with clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal site teams. Strong knowledge of BOQ, estimation, planning, billing, project costing, and project scheduling will be important for maintaining project quality, timelines, and commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage interior fit-out projects from initiation through completion and handover.
• Prepare, monitor, and update project schedules, BOQs, material approvals, and method statements.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and site teams to maintain smooth project execution.
• Monitor site progress, quality, safety, and project milestones to support timely project delivery.
• Manage subcontractors, manpower, resources, procurement, and site execution activities.
• Monitor project costs and support effective commercial and budget control.
• Ensure project activities comply with company standards, client requirements, approved specifications, and applicable local regulations.
• Identify project risks and resolve technical or execution-related issues efficiently.
• Support effective communication between project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent relevant qualification.
• 4–7 years of professional experience in interior fit-out projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of interior fit-out works and project execution.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, estimation, planning, billing, and project costing.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet demanding project schedules and deadlines.
• Strong project organization and stakeholder management capabilities.
