Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical Accountant with 5 years of hands-on accounting experience to join a client showroom in Sharjah, UAE. The role involves managing daily accounting operations, maintaining the general ledger, performing financial reconciliations, and preparing accurate financial reports.

The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial data using advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities and accounting software while ensuring compliance with applicable local accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies. Strong communication skills are essential for effective coordination with management, internal teams, and external stakeholders.

Candidates holding or pursuing professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CIMA can further strengthen their technical expertise and progress toward Senior Accountant, Finance Manager, or other financial leadership roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations and general ledger management.
• Perform accurate financial reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Analyze complex financial data using advanced Excel models.
• Utilize VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and financial functions for financial analysis and reporting.
• Coordinate effectively with internal teams, management, and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with relevant local accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Maintain compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.
• Support accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Identify and address discrepancies in financial records and reconciliations.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 5 years of hands-on accounting experience in the UAE or wider region.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
• Strong knowledge of VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and financial functions.
• Experience with accounting software such as ERP systems, Tally, or QuickBooks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Arabic language skills are an advantage.
• CPA, ACCA, or CIMA partial or full qualification is preferred.
• Must be based in Sharjah or willing to relocate to Sharjah.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.

Salary, Benefits & Career Growth

Salary: Up to AED 10,000 per month, depending on experience.
