Job Overview

MaYa Sustainable Solutions Company (MaYa SSC) is expanding its Environmental & Sustainability team for a long-term construction project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The company is seeking qualified professionals for the positions of Environmental & Sustainability Manager and Environmental & Sustainability Engineer.

The selected professionals will support environmental compliance, sustainability implementation, construction environmental management, and project reporting. The roles involve close coordination with the client, consultant, project teams, and MaYa SSC’s technical back-office team.

These positions provide an opportunity to develop expertise in environmental management, sustainability, LEED construction requirements, KSA environmental regulations, and construction compliance, supporting long-term career growth and professional development within the environmental and sustainability sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement CEMP frameworks and maintain ongoing environmental compliance.
• Conduct routine site environmental inspections.
• Monitor and manage dust, noise, waste, spill, and wastewater controls.
• Coordinate environmental monitoring activities.
• Track corrective actions and ensure timely close-out.
• Prepare and coordinate monthly environmental and sustainability reporting.
• Support LEED construction credit requirements.
• Conduct material compliance reviews and maintain supporting documentation.
• Maintain sustainability trackers and project records.
• Manage photographic evidence logs and project submission uploads.
• Coordinate effectively with clients and consultants.
• Liaise with MaYa SSC’s back-office technical team.
• Support the integration of environmental and sustainability requirements across project activities.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience working on construction or landscaping projects in Saudi Arabia.
• Working knowledge of LEED construction credits.
• Knowledge of KSA environmental regulations.
• Strong environmental compliance and site inspection capabilities.
• Excellent reporting and technical documentation skills.
• Strong cross-functional coordination and communication abilities.
• Candidates capable of managing combined environmental and sustainability responsibilities are strongly preferred.
• Immediate availability to join in Riyadh.
