Job Overview
Linnk Group is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager – Electrical to lead engineering activities for High Voltage (HV) GIS/AIS Substation EPC projects in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This 6-month renewable contract is ideal for senior engineering professionals with extensive experience in transmission and distribution, power generation, and large-scale EPC project execution.
The successful candidate will oversee multidisciplinary engineering teams, manage technical interfaces, and ensure engineering excellence throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end engineering execution for EPC projects involving HV GIS/AIS substations.
- Manage multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Oversee engineering design, technical reviews, and interface management.
- Ensure compliance with client specifications, Saudi utility requirements, and international engineering standards.
- Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Review engineering deliverables, calculations, and technical documentation.
- Monitor engineering schedules, project risks, and resource planning.
- Drive technical excellence, quality assurance, and safety compliance throughout project execution.
- Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and utility authorities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and engineering best practices.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 10+ years of EPC experience in:
- Transmission & Distribution
- Power Generation
- Energy Infrastructure
- Extensive experience with 132kV–400kV+ High Voltage GIS/AIS Substations.
- Strong knowledge of:
- SEC Standards
- TMSS
- TESP
- TCP
- Saudi Grid Codes
- IEC
- IEEE
- ANSI
- NEMA
- CIGRE standards
- Proven experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Experience working with Saudi utility providers.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English and Arabic.
- Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) approval/registration is mandatory.
