Job Overview

Adept Tech Security Services is seeking an experienced ELV Project Engineer to join its growing team in Qatar. The role is responsible for managing and coordinating ELV projects from initial planning through installation, testing, commissioning, and final handover.

The position involves close coordination with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams while ensuring that project drawings, specifications, BOQs, schedules, quality requirements, and technical standards are properly followed. The successful candidate will contribute directly to the successful delivery of ELV, security, and ICT projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate ELV projects from planning through completion and handover.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
• Review project drawings, specifications, BOQs, and technical requirements.
• Monitor project progress, schedules, quality, resources, and deliverables.
• Supervise ELV installation, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Prepare technical documentation, progress reports, and project updates.
• Coordinate site activities to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project requirements and assist in resolving technical and operational issues.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, HSE requirements, and company procedures.
• Coordinate resources and project activities to meet deadlines.
• Support communication between technical teams, suppliers, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
• Maintain appropriate project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Previous professional experience in ELV, security, ICT, or related projects.
• Strong knowledge of ELV and security systems, including:
  • CCTV
  • Access Control
  • Structured Cabling
  • SMATV
  • Audio Visual (AV)
  • Public Address (PA)
  • Intercom
  • Other ELV systems
• Qatar project experience is highly preferred.
• Strong project coordination and technical problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple project activities simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to meet project deadlines and coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Valid Qatar driving licence is an advantage.
