Job Overview

Qatar Airways is seeking a Data Science and AI Specialist to develop Artificial Intelligence, machine learning, and advanced analytics solutions that generate measurable business value and improve strategic and operational decision-making. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement AI models and machine learning algorithms to support business objectives.
• Build predictive models that identify trends, risks, anomalies, and business opportunities.
• Develop and maintain scalable data models for planning, forecasting, reporting, and analytics.
• Analyze complex and high-volume datasets to generate meaningful business insights.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, enrichment, and reliability across assigned datasets.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for AI and data modeling initiatives across Enterprise Data & Analytics portfolios.
• Support the Enterprise Data & Analytics Program Manager in delivering assigned portfolio outcomes.
• Collaborate with data engineering teams and business stakeholders to gather, clarify, and refine requirements.
• Translate AI and analytical outputs into actionable recommendations for business teams and management.
• Provide accurate and timely data insights to support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Continuously improve existing AI models, analytical tools, and data solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Identify opportunities for innovation, optimization, and value creation across Enterprise Data & Analytics portfolios.
• Support AI adoption and promote data-driven decision-making across business teams.
• Prepare and present business performance insights and analytical findings to management.
• Apply Agile methodologies to prioritize deliverables and ensure timely project execution.
• Contribute to the successful implementation of enterprise Data & AI initiatives.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant job-related experience.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar Data Science, AI, or advanced analytics role.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with programming and data-processing technologies relevant to data analysis and machine learning.
• Experience developing and implementing AI and machine learning models.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services for scalable data science and AI solutions.
• Experience processing and analyzing large volumes of data.
• Strong ability to derive insights from complex datasets.
• Ability to translate technical findings into actionable business strategies.
• Experience providing data-driven recommendations to management.
• Experience preparing and presenting business performance information to middle and senior management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively with data engineering and business teams.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and iterative delivery.
