Job Overview

Kent Data Centres is seeking experienced Data Centre MEP Design Professionals to join its growing Riyadh office. Multiple engineering opportunities are available across mechanical, electrical, civil, and structural design disciplines, supporting the delivery of regional data centre projects.

Data centre experience is essential for these positions. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineering professionals on regional projects while developing their technical expertise, professional capabilities, and long-term career growth within the data centre design sector.

Preference will be given to candidates who are currently based in Riyadh or elsewhere in Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engineering design activities for data centre projects.
• Develop and review discipline-specific engineering designs and technical documentation.
• Support the design and coordination of data centre MEP systems.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure effective project delivery.
• Review design requirements and contribute to technically sound engineering solutions.
• Support project teams throughout design and coordination stages.
• Apply relevant engineering standards, design practices, and project requirements.
• Collaborate with experienced engineering professionals on regional data centre projects.
• Maintain high standards of technical quality, accuracy, and coordination.

Requirements & Qualifications

Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
• Proven data centre design experience is essential.
• Strong mechanical design and engineering capabilities.

Senior Civil & Structural Design Engineer

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
• Proven data centre experience is essential.
• Strong civil and structural design expertise.

Electrical Design Engineer

• 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Data centre design experience is essential.
• Strong electrical design capabilities.

Junior Electrical Design Engineer

• 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Data centre experience is essential.
• Relevant electrical engineering design knowledge.

Mechanical Design Engineer

• 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Data centre design experience is essential.
• Relevant mechanical engineering design expertise.

Candidates should demonstrate strong technical skills, multidisciplinary coordination capabilities, attention to detail, and effective communication. Relevant engineering education and professional certifications will be advantageous where applicable.
