We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead – Java for a fully remote, 12-month contract opportunity. The ideal candidate will be a Native Arabic speaker with 10–15+ years of software engineering experience and 3–5+ years in technical leadership. The role focuses on enterprise Java development, software architecture, engineering governance, delivery leadership, and large-scale distributed systems.

Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Oracle, REST/GraphQL APIs, CI/CD, Agile delivery, system performance, observability, and enterprise security is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical architecture and engineering activities for large-scale enterprise systems.
• Provide technical leadership across Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices development.
• Design and review scalable distributed systems and enterprise applications.
• Drive REST and GraphQL API architecture and design.
• Support Oracle database and distributed systems architecture.
• Establish and maintain engineering governance and technical standards.
• Drive engineering quality, development best practices, and technical excellence.
• Oversee CI/CD implementation and Agile software delivery.
• Improve system performance, scalability, reliability, and observability.
• Guide implementation of enterprise security practices, including OAuth2 and JWT.
• Collaborate with distributed engineering teams and technical stakeholders.
• Support architecture decisions and technical problem-solving.
• Promote AI-assisted engineering practices and developer copilots.
• Contribute to AI-enabled engineering transformation initiatives.
• Support delivery governance and ensure alignment between technical architecture and business objectives.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 10–15+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3–5+ years of technical leadership experience.
• Native Arabic language proficiency is mandatory.
• Strong hands-on expertise in:
