Job Overview

China Railway Construction Corporation (CRCC) is seeking a qualified Signaling Engineer to support the Al Mashaaer Al Mugaddassah Metro Maintenance Project (MMMSL) in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This is a technical engineering opportunity for Saudi nationals with backgrounds in railway signaling, electronics, electrical engineering, power supply, information technology, or related technical disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and support preventive and corrective maintenance activities for signaling equipment and systems.
• Conduct inspections of signaling equipment and related systems.
• Perform functional testing and verification in accordance with approved procedures.
• Troubleshoot signaling system faults and technical issues.
• Prepare maintenance records, fault reports, inspection reports, and other technical documentation.
• Support activities related to signaling system reliability, availability, and maintainability.
• Monitor technical conditions of signaling equipment and identify potential maintenance requirements.
• Provide technical support during intensive Hajj operations and other critical operational periods.
• Coordinate with maintenance and technical teams to support safe and reliable metro operations.
• Follow approved maintenance procedures, technical standards, and operational requirements.
• Support shift-based maintenance and operational activities when required.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Saudi nationality is mandatory.
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in:
  • Railway Signaling
  • Electronics Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Power Supply / Electrical Power
  • Information Technology (IT)
  • Related technical discipline
• Relevant experience in railway signaling, metro systems, electrical/electronic systems, or related technical fields is preferred.
• Good command of English, both written and verbal, is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Makkah.
• Ability to work shifts and support operational activities when required.
• Strong technical troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant railway signaling, electrical, electronics, or technical certifications are advantageous.
