Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Program Manager – Treasury to lead technology transformation and implementation initiatives within the banking and financial services sector in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have extensive project management experience combined with strong exposure to Treasury, Global Markets, and banking technology environments.

The role will involve managing complex technology transformation, implementation, and integration programs while coordinating business and technology stakeholders, vendors, and delivery teams. Strong expertise in executive reporting, budget management, risk and issue management, dependencies, and Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage banking technology projects and programs focused on Treasury and Global Markets.
• Drive technology transformation, implementation, and integration initiatives.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, issues, dependencies, and delivery milestones.
• Coordinate cross-functional business and technology teams.
• Manage relationships with vendors, technology partners, and other external stakeholders.
• Provide executive-level project reporting and communicate project status, risks, and key decisions.
• Coordinate requirements, implementation activities, testing, integration, and delivery.
• Ensure projects remain aligned with business objectives and technology strategies.
• Apply Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies as appropriate.
• Identify delivery risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, governance forums, project reviews, and decision-making processes.
• Support successful project implementation and transition into business-as-usual operations.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience in Project Management or Program Management.
• Strong experience within Banking and Financial Services.
• Hands-on experience with Treasury or Global Markets projects.
• Proven experience in technology transformation, implementation, and integration.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Experience managing vendors, budgets, risks, issues, and project dependencies.
• Strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies.
• Exposure to banking platforms such as FLEXCUBE, Bloomberg, or LSEG is advantageous.
• UAE or GCC banking experience is preferred.
• Strong leadership, analytical, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Relevant project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications are advantageous.
• Immediate or short-notice availability is preferred.
