Job Overview

Applab is seeking a skilled .NET Developer with 4+ years of professional experience to join its development team in Qatar. The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance applications using Microsoft technologies and modern software development practices.

The successful candidate will work extensively with C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework, SQL, and RESTful APIs. Experience with Azure, Git, CI/CD, unit testing, and frontend technologies is considered an advantage. The position requires strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to collaborate effectively within an Agile development environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable .NET applications.
• Develop high-performance applications using C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET MVC.
• Build and maintain applications using Entity Framework and SQL.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient application code.
• Collaborate with development, business, and technical teams to understand requirements.
• Participate in Agile development processes and project activities.
• Perform unit testing and contribute to application quality and reliability.
• Use Git for source-code management and collaborative development.
• Support CI/CD processes and application deployment activities.
• Contribute to cloud-based development and deployment using Azure where applicable.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Contribute to frontend development and integration where required.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional .NET development experience.
• Strong programming skills in C#.
• Strong experience with .NET Core.
• Experience with ASP.NET MVC.
• Strong knowledge of Entity Framework.
• Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience building scalable and high-performance applications.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in an Agile environment.
• Experience with Git is an advantage.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices is an advantage.
• Experience with Azure is a plus.
• Experience with unit testing is preferred.
• Frontend technology experience is an advantage.
• Arabic speakers are preferred.
