Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Software Engineer – .NET / Project Management to join a technology team in Qatar. The role combines hands-on .NET software development with technical leadership and project management responsibilities, making it suitable for senior professionals who can manage both software engineering teams and end-to-end IT projects.

The successful candidate will lead technical teams, oversee software development projects, coordinate with clients, and contribute to project planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery. Strong expertise in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, Web API, and SQL Server is required, along with demonstrated project management experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead software development teams and provide technical direction.
• Develop and maintain applications using .NET and C#.
• Design, develop, and support solutions using ASP.NET, .NET Core, Web API, and SQL Server.
• Lead technical delivery across software development projects.
• Plan, execute, monitor, and deliver IT and software projects.
• Manage project scope, budgets, resources, risks, schedules, and timelines.
• Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to understand requirements and project expectations.
• Translate business and technical requirements into effective software solutions.
• Oversee software development activities throughout the SDLC.
• Apply Agile/Scrum methodologies where applicable.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure software projects are delivered according to agreed quality, scope, schedule, and resource requirements.
• Conduct technical discussions, project reviews, and stakeholder meetings.
• Support team performance, mentoring, task allocation, and technical problem-solving.
• Ensure effective communication between technical teams, management, and clients.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of relevant experience combining .NET development and project management.
• Proven experience as a Lead Software Engineer.
• Strong hands-on experience with .NET / C# development.
• Strong knowledge of:
  • ASP.NET
  • .NET Core
  • Web API
  • SQL Server
• Demonstrated experience leading technical teams and software projects.
• Strong project planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery experience.
• Experience managing:

• Experience with Agile/Scrum and SDLC.
• Strong project management and client coordination capabilities.
• Experience managing IT/software development projects is preferred.
• Arabic speaking is mandatory.
• Candidates must currently be available in Qatar.

• PMP certification is preferred.
