Job Overview

China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) – Dubai is seeking an experienced Land Surveyor – Structures to support ongoing and upcoming Roads & Infrastructure projects in Dubai. The position is suitable for surveying professionals with 5–8 years of experience in structural and infrastructure projects, particularly candidates with strong exposure to RTA projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate setting out, level control, survey verification, as-built surveys, structural alignment, and survey documentation across major infrastructure works. Experience with bridges, underpasses, retaining walls, culverts, pump rooms, underground tanks, and related structural works is highly relevant to the role.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out accurate setting out, level control, and surveying activities for structural and infrastructure projects.
• Establish, verify, and maintain survey control points, benchmarks, coordinates, and alignments.
• Conduct setting-out, as-built, and verification surveys for bridges, underpasses, retaining walls, culverts, and other structures.
• Monitor levels, alignment, plumb, deformation, and overall survey accuracy.
• Prepare and maintain survey records, drawings, reports, and calculations.
• Coordinate survey requirements with engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams.
• Support progress monitoring and quantity measurement activities.
• Provide accurate survey information for construction and engineering teams.
• Review drawings, specifications, and method statements to ensure survey activities are correctly executed.
• Ensure surveying activities comply with project specifications, authority standards, and RTA requirements.
• Identify and communicate survey discrepancies or technical issues to relevant project stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate documentation of completed survey activities and verification results.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience as a Land Surveyor.
• Strong experience in structures and infrastructure projects.
• RTA roads and infrastructure project experience is mandatory/highly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Bridges
  • Underpasses
  • Retaining walls
  • Culverts
  • Pump rooms
  • Underground tanks
  • Related structural works
• Proficiency with Total Station and GPS/RTK surveying equipment.
• Experience with AutoCAD survey drawings and relevant survey software.
• Strong knowledge of benchmarks, coordinates, levels, alignments, and authority requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good coordination, reporting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary construction and engineering teams.
