Job Overview

We are seeking experienced Senior and Principal Electrical and Mechanical Design Engineers for opportunities within the growing data centre and mission-critical infrastructure sector in Dubai, UAE. Key Responsibilities

Senior / Principal Electrical Design Engineer

• Develop and review electrical designs for data centre and mission-critical facilities.
• Support electrical engineering design across complex data centre infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate electrical systems with mechanical, architectural, structural, and other engineering disciplines.
• Review technical drawings, specifications, calculations, and engineering documentation.
• Support design development and technical decision-making throughout project stages.
• Ensure electrical designs meet applicable project requirements and engineering standards.
• Participate in technical coordination and design review activities.
• Identify engineering risks and support effective technical solutions.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams and junior engineering professionals.

Senior / Principal Mechanical Design Engineer

• Develop and review mechanical designs for data centre and mission-critical facilities.
• Support the design of critical cooling and mechanical infrastructure.
• Coordinate mechanical systems with electrical, architectural, structural, and other disciplines.
• Review technical drawings, specifications, calculations, and engineering documentation.
• Support design development, technical coordination, and engineering analysis.
• Ensure mechanical designs meet project requirements and applicable engineering standards.
• Identify technical risks and contribute to effective engineering solutions.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams and junior engineers.

General Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, architects, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Participate in design reviews, technical meetings, and project coordination.
• Maintain high standards of engineering quality and technical documentation.
• Support continuous improvement and professional development within data centre engineering.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline.
• Ideally 10–15+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Strong professional experience in data centre or mission-critical design is required.
• Proven experience in either electrical or mechanical design engineering.
• Strong understanding of complex MEP systems and multidisciplinary engineering coordination.
• Experience working on technically demanding infrastructure projects.
• Strong design review, technical analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
