Job Overview

GSS Tech Group is seeking an experienced Senior Techno-Functional Consultant – Finacle to support enterprise banking technology initiatives in Dubai. The position is suited to professionals with strong hands-on experience in Finacle Core Banking, Finacle Scripting, PL/SQL, core banking processes, and enterprise technology delivery.

The successful candidate will combine functional banking knowledge with technical expertise to translate business requirements into effective Finacle solutions. Responsibilities include end-to-end solution design, Finacle configuration and customization, technical development, API integration, database development, testing, deployment support, production troubleshooting, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Implementation

• Lead end-to-end solutioning for Finacle Core Banking requirements.
• Analyze business and functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Conduct requirement analysis, functional design, and gap analysis.
• Configure and implement Finacle modules according to business requirements.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to ensure functional and technical alignment.

Finacle Customization & Development

• Develop and implement customizations using Finacle Scripting.
• Develop and maintain database procedures, functions, and scripts using PL/SQL.
• Perform Finacle menu customization and configuration.
• Configure and support Finacle functionalities based on business requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve functional and technical issues within Finacle.

Integration & Technical Support

• Design, develop, and support API integrations between Finacle and internal or external systems.
• Support API configuration, integration testing, troubleshooting, and deployment activities.
• Manage batch job setup, scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure reliable integration between Finacle and enterprise applications.
• Provide production support and technical resolution within agreed timelines.

Stakeholder Management

• Conduct requirement-gathering sessions and workshops with business stakeholders.
• Understand banking processes and translate business requirements into Finacle functional and technical specifications.
• Communicate solution approaches, dependencies, risks, and delivery status to stakeholders.
• Manage stakeholder expectations throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Collaborate with business users, functional teams, developers, QA teams, and technology stakeholders.

Testing & Deployment

• Support functional testing, system integration testing, and UAT activities.
• Assist business users during UAT and resolve identified issues.
• Support deployment, release, and post-implementation activities.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely functional and technical support.
• Maintain appropriate technical and functional documentation.
• Ensure solutions meet established quality and delivery standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of relevant professional experience is required; profiles with less experience will not be considered.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Finacle Core Banking technology projects.
• Strong hands-on experience with Finacle Core Banking.
• Strong expertise in Finacle Scripting.
• Strong hands-on experience with PL/SQL.
• Experience with Finacle customization and configuration.
• Experience with Finacle menu customization.
• Experience with API integration and configuration.
• Experience with batch job setup, scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of database concepts and SQL.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and production support capabilities.
• Strong functional knowledge of core banking modules, particularly:
  • CASA — Current Account / Savings Account
  • Term Deposits (TD)
  • Loans
• Ability to translate banking business requirements into Finacle solutions.
• Experience in enterprise banking technology delivery environments.
• Understanding of Agile delivery methodologies.
• Experience participating in sprint planning, requirement discussions, testing, release activities, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong ownership and accountability for deliverables.
• Ability to manage multiple requirements and priorities in a fast-paced banking environment.
• Good documentation and communication skills.
• Willingness to work across both functional and technical aspects of Finacle delivery.
