Job Overview

An international engineering contractor specializing in data center projects is seeking an experienced MEP Site Manager to join its operations in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing MEP activities on an uptime-accredited data center project, ensuring that mechanical and electrical systems are delivered and maintained in accordance with project requirements.

The role is particularly suited to an electrically biased MEP professional with substantial site experience and proven supervisory responsibility. Candidates must have a minimum of 7–10 years of MEP experience, including 2–3 years in a supervisory position, with at least two years of direct data center experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage MEP site activities for an uptime-accredited data center project.
• Supervise and coordinate MEP installation and construction activities.

• Coordinate MEP activities with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and project teams.
• Monitor site progress, quality, safety, and technical compliance.
• Resolve technical and site-related MEP issues efficiently.
• Support the delivery of critical MEP systems within required project schedules.
• Ensure work is carried out in accordance with approved designs, procedures, and applicable standards.
• Coordinate site activities to minimize risks to critical data center operations.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 7–10 years of professional MEP experience.
• 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory or site management role.

• Strong electrical engineering bias and technical understanding.
• Proven experience managing MEP activities on major construction or critical infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of MEP site operations and coordination.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage site activities in a demanding, time-critical environment.
• Experience with uptime-accredited or high-availability data center projects is highly relevant.
