Job Overview

Two experienced Solution Architects are required in Perth, Australia, to support data and analytics architecture initiatives. The positions are focused on designing scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms while aligning technology solutions with enterprise architecture, governance, security, and regulatory requirements.

The successful candidates will bring extensive experience across end-to-end data and analytics architecture, including data ingestion, storage, processing, and consumption. Strong expertise in modern cloud data platforms such as Snowflake and Azure, data pipelines, batch and real-time integration, data governance, metadata management, and enterprise architecture is required.

This six-month contract provides an opportunity to contribute to complex data transformation initiatives and strengthen professional expertise in cloud data architecture, enterprise architecture, governance, and analytics platforms. TOGAF certification or an equivalent qualification supports continued professional development and career growth in senior architecture roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end data and analytics architectures covering ingestion, storage, processing, and consumption.
• Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance data platform architectures.
• Design solutions using modern data platforms, including Snowflake and Azure.
• Define batch and real-time data integration patterns.
• Develop architectural solutions aligned with enterprise technology strategies.
• Establish and maintain data governance, quality, lineage, and metadata management practices.
• Develop architectural artefacts including High-Level Designs, Low-Level Designs, data models, integration diagrams, and architecture decision logs.
• Present architecture solutions and design decisions to relevant stakeholders.
• Participate in architecture governance forums and design review sessions.
• Ensure data architecture complies with security, privacy, regulatory, and organizational requirements.
• Support data cataloguing and implementation of governance and metadata platforms.
• Collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and enterprise architecture functions.
• Provide clear technical documentation and communicate architectural decisions effectively.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of enterprise data and analytics architecture.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Solution Architect roles.
• Extensive experience in end-to-end data and analytics architecture.
• Strong understanding of data ingestion, storage, processing, and consumption architectures.
• Experience with modern cloud data platforms, particularly Snowflake and Azure.
• Strong knowledge of scalable data pipelines and cloud data architecture.
• Experience with batch and real-time data integration patterns.
• Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, data lineage, and metadata management.
• Experience producing HLDs, LLDs, data models, integration diagrams, and architecture decision logs.
• Experience participating in architecture governance forums and presenting technical designs.
• Strong knowledge of data security, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with data cataloguing, governance tools, and metadata platforms.
• TOGAF qualification or equivalent architecture certification.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and technical documentation skills.
