Job Overview

REGAL is seeking an experienced Accountant to join its team in Kuwait. The role is focused on supporting day-to-day accounting operations, financial reconciliation, tax and compliance activities, and accurate management of accounting records.

The successful candidate will work with financial data and accounting processes while using Odoo ERP and Microsoft Excel to support efficient financial operations. Strong knowledge of VAT, tax returns, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation is required for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare and support VAT and tax return requirements.
• Ensure accounting activities comply with applicable tax and financial requirements.
• Use Odoo ERP for accounting and financial operations.
• Conduct regular bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Maintain accurate accounting documentation and transaction records.
• Use Microsoft Excel for financial data management, analysis, and reporting.
• Support the finance team with accounting-related tasks and reporting as required.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of practical accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of VAT, tax returns, and compliance requirements.
• Hands-on experience using Odoo ERP.
• Practical experience conducting bank reconciliations.
• Good knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and financial record-management skills.
• Candidates must currently reside in Kuwait.
