Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Implement a consistent bank-wide project management philosophy across functions.
• Establish and maintain standardized project management tools, processes, and methodologies.
• Define clear project objectives, scope, milestones, and delivery requirements.
• Lead strategic and operational project planning and execution.
• Manage medium to large-scale banking projects throughout the complete project lifecycle.
• Monitor project progress, deliverables, timelines, and performance.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks and dependencies.
• Resolve project issues and escalate critical matters when required.
• Manage project budgets and ensure effective financial control.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and multiple project stakeholders.
• Provide regular project updates and performance reports to senior management.
• Ensure projects remain aligned with corporate strategy and business objectives.
• Collaborate with the Change Management team to identify and address implementation challenges.
• Apply current project management techniques and industry best practices.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Banking, Finance, or a related field.
• Master’s degree in Management or a related discipline is an advantage.
• Minimum 10 years of experience managing medium to large-scale projects.
• Strong experience within the banking industry.
• Demonstrated experience leading strategic and operational project planning and execution.
• Proven track record managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong budget and timeline management capabilities.
• Knowledge of current project management techniques and industry best practices.
• Experience with digital transformation and strategic initiatives is advantageous.
• Relevant project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent are advantageous.
