Job Overview

SIGMA is seeking a Senior Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Engineer to support a financial-sector project in Saudi Arabia. This is a three-month project-based opportunity for an experienced cybersecurity professional with strong hands-on expertise in data loss prevention engineering, data classification, information security, and enterprise DLP platforms.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, administering, supporting, and optimizing enterprise DLP solutions. The role involves developing DLP policies, identifying sensitive information, supporting data discovery and classification, investigating security incidents, and improving data protection controls across endpoint, email, and network environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, administer, and support enterprise DLP solutions.
• Create and maintain DLP policies and data classification policies.
• Conduct data discovery and identify sensitive and protected information.
• Develop and optimize data protection controls across enterprise environments.
• Configure and manage endpoint, email, and network DLP capabilities.
• Investigate DLP incidents and support appropriate remediation activities.
• Tune DLP policies to reduce false positives and improve detection accuracy.
• Monitor DLP events and prepare relevant security reports.
• Support data classification and sensitive-data identification initiatives.
• Contribute to insider threat management and data privacy programs.
• Integrate DLP solutions with SIEM and SOC platforms where required.
• Collaborate with information security and cybersecurity teams.
• Maintain appropriate technical documentation and operational records.
• Support continuous improvement of enterprise data protection processes.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in DLP engineering, data classification, implementation, administration, or support.
• Strong hands-on experience with one or more enterprise DLP platforms, including:
  • Forcepoint DLP
  • Symantec / Broadcom DLP
  • Microsoft Purview DLP
  • Trellix DLP
  • Digital Guardian
  • Other equivalent enterprise DLP solutions
• Strong understanding of:
  • Data Loss Prevention
  • Data Classification
  • Data Discovery
  • Data Protection
  • Information Security
  • Insider Threat Management
  • Data Privacy
• Experience creating and managing DLP policies.
• Experience with classification policies and sensitive data identification.
• Experience with data discovery and protection controls.

• Strong policy tuning and reporting capabilities.
• Experience integrating DLP solutions with SIEM/SOC platforms is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
